Roger Bachour – PT, TPI certified

Roger Bachour founded Accelerated Physical Therapy in the Spring of 2000.   Previously, he worked in the private practice setting for several years where he obtained valuable experience as a clinic director. He is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston South Carolina.  Accelerated Physical Therapy was founded on delivering excellent care to the patients in a timely and safe manner, as well as treating the patients with the utmost respect and care.

Roger’s career has been exclusively focused on orthopedic musculoskeletal injuries. With a strong background in Physics and experience in many different sports, he uses a biomechanical approach to evaluating and treating the patient. This approach has allowed him to treat the root problems and not just the symptoms. Roger has treated and continues to treat a high number of athletes. He also has an extensive background in coaching especially soccer at the High school, club, and collegiate levels.

Being a student of biomechanics, he has been fascinated by the foot and ankle complex and how they in turn affect the whole body.  Over the years he has perfected the fabrication and fitting of custom orthotics to treat a large array of ailments.  He is a frequent lecturer at local Universities, clinics, and adult conferences about foot and ankle injuries and treatments

Roger is certified by Titleist Performance Institute as a Medical provider.  He offers analysis and adjustment to the golfer to allow Him or Her to have an efficient swing that is safe for their restrictions.  That includes physical screening, video analysis, and exercise recommendations to promote efficiency and safety in the golfer, enabling longevity in the ability to play golf.
